About Us

I'm still here for your Service needs...

 Allow me to introduce myself, My name is David Bencic and my new marine repair company, Gale Force Marine Services LLC, 7471 Tyler Blvd. Unit  D, Mentor, Ohio 44060. The company may be new, but I bring the same great service that you, my customers, have come to expect from me. I have been servicing boats in the Greater Cleveland area for 25 years!  

 A little about me:

I am a graduate of Cuyahoga Valley Vocational School’s marine mechanics program.  I am an Ohio VICA Skills Competition gold medalist and a national silver medalist.  I am Johnson/Evinrude Outboard trained, Honda Outboard trained, Mercury Outboard Certified and Mercruiser Certified.  I presently hold my 100 ton master Captain’s license with my towing and sailing endorsements. 


We had some phone trouble while we were closed for vacation.... Sorry for any inconvenience but we are up and running now! (as of Aug. 5, 2018)

  At Gale Force Marine, we offer service on your outboard, I/O and inboard engines, and your boat's hull and systems.  From major engine repair and running problems to preventive maintenance, as well as fiberglass and gelcoat repair and restoration. We can install your new electronics, repair your electrical, plumbing or hydraulic systems, even paint your bottom.
